Acrylic Shutters
Acrylic Shutters are very durable and water Proof material. Although it has high impact-resistance, it has low scratch-resistance. The shutters will have smooth surface and available in trendy multicolor.
Synthetic Fibers made from a polymer . Though it is thermoplastic, it does not melt under normal conditions. It degrades before melting. It melts above 300 0C if the heating rates are 50 degrees per minute or above. Acrylic is also called acrilan fabric. As it resembles silk, it is also called artificial silk.
Lacquered wood Shutters
Various clear or color synthetic coatings made by dissolving nitrocellulose or other cellulose derivatives together with plasticizers and pigments in a mixture of volatile solvents and used to impart a high gloss to surfaces.
MDF Shutters
Medium-density fiberboard is a product formed by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibers, combining it with wax and a resin binder, and forming panels by applying high Temperature and pressure. MDF is generally denser than plywood. It is stronger and much denser than particle board.
There are different kinds of MDF, which are sometimes labeled by color: Moisture resistant is typically green. Fire retardant MDF is typically red or blue.
Membrane Shutter
A membrane is a highly flexible and durable foil mounted on MDF or Hard Wood inside a laminating press Machines. The laminating used front side with different colours and finishes.
Post Formed Shutters
Post forming is the process of making flat sheets of laminate fold smoothly over the rounded edge of a sub-strata. Post forming provides an ideal solution wherever furniture has to be protected from mechanical, thermal or chemical loads. The outstanding benefit that the surface and edge of the panel are protected by a continuous laminate.
Pre-laminated Shutters
The boards are laminated under high temperature and pressure, the boards are free from defects like waviness, air pockets and other bonding defects . Pre laminated MDF boards will have excellent finish and durability. MDF laminated boards are resistant to most of the household chemicals, steam, cigarette burns and, scratches and are also vapor resistant.
Ply Wood
Plywood layers called veneers or plys are glued together, with adjacent plies having their wood grain. There are different types of plywood such as Soft wood Plywood, Hardwood Plywood, Special purpose plywood, Tropical plywood, Aircraft plywood, Decorative plywood, Flexible plywood, Marine plywood, fire-retardant & moisture-resistant plywood etc
Marine plywood is manufactured from durable face and core veneers, with few defects so it performs longer in humid and wet conditions and resists delaminating and fungal attack. Its construction is such that it can be used in environments where it is exposed to moisture for long periods.
Particle Board
Particle board, also known as particleboard and chipboard, is a product manufactured from wood chips, sawmill shavings, or even saw dust, and a synthetic resin or other suitable binder, which is pressed and extruded. A major disadvantage of particleboard is that it is very prone to expansion and discoloration due to moisture.
